Google Page Rank: Some Tips

This is a continuation from previous post about simple terms of Google Page Rank.
Avoid low ranking directories to add your site to. It is true that Google does add value to many of the directories on the Internet, but new ones or low ranking ones just will not do much for you at all in terms of helping your page ranking. Now trying to get links from trust domains that have high Google Page rank is a must as Google values them and will look on your more favourable if you’re linking to those types of sites. Avoid link exchanges as Google does not put much value into them anymore. A few years ago they were all the rage and people used them exclusively, but Google has given them less value over the years. The main reason for this is so many popped up and they gave no perceived value that Google actually told people they would not give them much weight when figuring a page rank.
Become a published writer on the Internet is also something that you will want to consider to increase your page rank. Getting links back to your site is key and one way to do it is by article writing. All you do is write an informative article and post in on many article directories and you will have links pointing back to your site. Why is this important? Simply put Google loves article directories and most of them have very high page ranks so it can only help you and give your website a boost in Google’s eyes. Article marketing is fast becoming one of the more popular ways to get more links to your sites without a ton of work being involved.
Submitting your website to search engine directories is also another great idea that will help you as well. Many times it is much easier to get ranked higher in other search engines than in Google plus you will 
get valuable links back to your site from usually high ranking sites. Forums are another thing many people take for granted, but can really help increase your page rank as well. As you probably already know there is almost a forum on every subject imaginable and some of these forums have very high page ranks in Google. By joining them and posting often and adding a signature to your post such as your website you just added another link for Google to check out. The more popular forum the better, but the key is getting sites linked back to yours and this way is free all it takes is some work on your part.

always remember that not all links are created equal in Google’s eyes. Many people think that by getting thousands of links to your site will increase your site’s page rank very quickly, but that is not necessary so. You need to get relevant links to your site usually on the subject matter of your webpage and if you do not all those links really do not help your website in Google’s eyes. Let us now look at how we can improve your page rank as it can be done, but it does take time and it does not happen overnight no matter what others may try and tell you.
the better chance you will have that your page rank will increase. Be warned though it is tough to get high ranking page rank sites to exchange links so you will have some work on your hands. You probably are better off trying to get links from smaller page rank sites and moving your way up. Remember that the fewer outgoing links on the page that you are receiving a link from the more Page Rank value you will receive and move your rank up. In this instance fewer links is actually better according to the system that Google employs.
